The Psychology Clinic of The University of Georgia

The Psychology Clinic offers a wide range of services to meet the varied needs of the people in the Northeast Georgia area. Psychological needs for which people can find help at the Clinic, include, but are not limited to, the following:

Depression represents a troubling concern for one in ten persons in our community. However, recent advances in treatment have given us a number of safe, effective and medication free approaches to relieving the personal and family consequences of depression. The Psychology Clinic is a leading institution in bringing these new and effective treatment approaches to our area.

Anxiety, loneliness, fears, panic, agoraphobia, worry, self-doubt, low self-esteem, and other emotional difficulties may be the result of many different issues or situations. A careful and comprehensive assessment of these problems at the Psychology Clinic can indicate the most effective approach to feeling better. Working together with a caring and concerned therapist can often reveal hidden strengths and capabilities.
